The author:
Nigel Willis has been associated with Notugre since he joined Jwala in 1989, serving on its executive committee for many years. For more than 20 years he was chairman of Jwala and later also of Dopotta. Nigel is also known as The Hon. Mr Justice Nigel Willis or The Revd. Dr Nigel Willis. This anthology of the sermons has been published to celebrate and mark the 120th anniversary of the founding of St George’s Anglican Church, Parktown, Johannesburg in October 2024. It is also the tenth anniversary of Nigel’s preaching from the pulpit. He is a retired judge of the Supreme Court of Appeal and an ordained, non-stipendiary minister in the Anglican Church of Southern Africa. He is an assistant priest at St George’s. Nigel is also the author of Banking in South African Law and The Pentecostal Movement, its Challenges and Potential.
