Directly after the release of the dogs in April, one of the females split off from the rest of the group and was seen on occasion at Merry Hill offices and further north into the reserve.
The remaining four dogs were seen close to Mashatu Tented camp in May and there was a sighting of them again in June, during which it was reported that three of the dogs have snares. The dogs have not been seen since.
